Quest Atlantis - Educational Gaming
Quest Atlantis (QA) is an international learning and teaching project that uses a 3D multi-user environment to immerse children, ages 9-16, in educational tasks. Quest Atlantis is a multi-user virtual environment being used by teachers with over 20,000 children worldwide to support meaningful content learning.

Quest Atlantis provides a powerful new learning environment that combines academic concepts and meaningful play with disciplinary practice with the goal to create socially committed citizens. The game environment employees narrative to stimulate creative work within an active social network. The children engage is activities uniquely suited to the new millennium: collaborative, distributed, negotiated, and critical.
