Lenses on Learning
Lenses on Learning is a K-8 staff development program designed to help school leaders learn about standards-based mathematics education, how to support it, and how it impacts key aspects of their work. This three-module course focuses on administrators' work in classroom observation, teacher supervision, and professional development. Each of the three modules contains sufficient material for 3-5 class sessions of three hours each. Principals, assistant principals, curriculum leaders, staff developers, supervisors, math coaches, and other K-8 school leaders may find the materials useful for: leading curriculum change; leading professional development in mathematics; supervising classroom teachers; and improving students mathematics performance. The first website links to the publisher of the material (Pearson), and the second website links to the project (EDC).
